Q. I'm convinced. How do I join? A. To become a
BoomTribe member, start by filling in the Registration
Form. Completing the Registration Form provides you with
instant access as a Bronze Level Member. To upgrade to a
premium membership level...
Q. How will I know when my membership is going to
expire? The BoomTribe membership runs ONE year from the
order date. All members will be reminded of their
expiration and given opportunity to renew prior to their
expiration date.
Membership Cards
Q. How does the membership card work? A. Your
BoomTribe card is customized with your name and
BoomTribe membership information. This card will be used
for identification and verification of member status at
special BoomTribe functions, i.e., you may be chosen to
come backstage and meet a famous artiste. Membership renewal reminders
and related information will be sent to all members via
email.
Q. I lost my membership card. What should I do?
A. Please contact us and we will replace your card. There
is a small fee for replacing a lost membership card to
cover the cost of production.
Username and Password
Q. Can I change my username?
A.
Your username cannot be changed. You can, however,
change your "Handle". This is your nickname and is seen
when you post on message boards and the like. If you
would still like to change your username, you can cancel
your old account and open a new account.
Q. What should I do if I have forgotten my username
or password (or both) A. Simply click the "Forgot your
password?" link and fill in the email address you
entered when you registered. A new password will be
created and emailed to that address. Just edit your
profile to change your password to something easier to
remember.
Registration Information
Q. How do I change the information I entered on registration?
A. By
clicking "Edit Profile" on the menu at the top of your
screen when you're logged into BoomTribe.
Banning / Acct. Closure
Q. How do I close my
BoomTribe account? A. There is a link to cancel your
membership within your profile page. You may also notify
us that you want to close your account via email and we
will cancel it for you.
Q. What would cause my BoomTribe account to be banned
or closed? A. Repeat violation of the BoomTribe
Community Standards will result in your account being
suspended or closed altogether. Internet Explorer 6.x
has changed the default handling of cookies resulting in
a situation where many of the websites on the Internet
will not work properly. To re-enable cookies, which are
used by this site to recognize you when you login, you
just need to change one setting in Internet Explorer.
Login Problems
For some reason I can't login! What's wrong?"
Along the top of your screen you will see some menus.
Select "Tools" and then the option labeled "Internet
Options". You will then see a dialog window with tabs
along the top. We are interested in the third tab
(labeled "Privacy"). Now click on "Sites", then add boomtribe.com under "Address of Website", then click "Allow".
You should now click "OK" to save your changes. At
this point cookies will now be enabled on your computer for boomtribe.com
and you will be able to login and enjoy the tremendous
membership benefits we offer.
This is necessary because the default setting for Internet Explorer is now to only accept
cookies from sites with a "Compact Privacy Policy".
Unfortunately this standard, developed in part by
Microsoft, is very new and not supported by many of the
sites on the Internet including this one. |
