The BoomTribe.com Home page is what greets you when you log into the website. From this page, which is updated daily, you can instantly see the new content has been added in each of the site’s six “channels”. Furthermore, the page is customizable, providing easy access to to your favourite forums, the latest events, your buddies that are currently online and more.

Calendar

Members can use a private calendar or group calendar to schedule events and keep track of their lives. Individual members can subscribe to other members' calendars as well, creating a flexible and personalized system.

While viewing calendars, there are several options available. You can choose to view by:

• Year
• Month
• Week
• Two Week Period
• Day
• Single Event

Members can make their personal calendar public, restrict access to certain users, or keep it private. They can also choose to receive email notifications before an event so that they are sure to remember to attend. When the date of the event has passed, users can post comments about events. Finally, the BoomTribe Calendar is searchable, by keyword and date range.

Address Book

Users of your service get a full-featured address book. Entries can be viewed alphabetically or searched for. Several different sorting options will make your users very happy.

When you first become a member, you already have the contact information for certain key individuals in your address book. These include:

• Administrators
• Moderators / Hosts
• BoomTribe DJs
• Famous Artistes

Notepad

Allows users to store unlimited notes for themselves. Accessible through a convenient drop-down menu, users will be able to easily sort through their notes and delete them when no longer valid.

My ToDo List

 A fast and intuitive to-do list manager allows members to quickly store a list of jobs. They can also set deadlines and assign them priority ratings.

BoomTribe Mail

All BoomTribe members are given a boomtribe.com email account. These email accounts facilitate communication between members.

BoomTribe Mail has been designed to mirror large scale online email providers like Hotmail and Yahoo and includes - multiple folders, address book, signatures, filters, bulk email filter, POP 3 compliance, attachments and more.

Members have the option of being notified at their primary email address (the one entered in their member profile) when they receive new email in their BoomTribe Mail account. They will also be notified by email when they are nearing their account's storage limit.

We won’t be limited to just boomtribe.com email accounts, however. We will be providing a range of domain names that users can choose from, including domain names from some of the Caribbean’s best know bands and artistes!! To further enhance your email experience, paid member receive additional storage space for received emails and attachments, a larger maximum total attachment size of outgoing email, a larger maximum number of attachments per email, more email signatures and more external POP3 accounts.

MyBoomTribe is part of the BoomTribe homepage that is totally customizable. It features the following:

User Profile

Each member has a private and public profile. The private profile is a place where they can edit their information. The public profile (also called the MoreInfo page) is displayed throughout the suite whenever the member's username is clicked. Members are able to upload a personal photo to their member profile page.

Icons

Members can choose from an image from a default set of icons/avatars to represent them on the site (for example in the forums). We will be adding more BoomTribe and Caribbean icons in the coming months, so check back often! Members can choose to upload their own icon/avatar.
