The following guidelines must be
met before the video can be considered for the playlist.
Format:
In order of preference, videos can be submitted as
Data .avi, MiniDV or DVD, in NTSC format.
Broadcast quality:
Check the picture & sound quality is of broadcast
standard.
- 100% colour bars
- Audio should peak at 0db and no higher
- Double check audio and pictures are in sync
- Avoid the use of flashing images and regular
patterns. (Flashing lights and certain types of
regular visual patterns can cause problems for some
viewers who have photo-sensitive epilepsy).
- Please do not include any titles on the actual
video (eg artist name & track title these details
will be added by BoomTribe TV)
Video Content:
- Language: A Clean version of the video is
required. All swearwords, offensive language &
racist comments must be removed before submission
- Drug and solvent abuse should not be shown in
such a way as to appear problem-free or glamorous.
- Representations of sexual intercourse, nudity &
suggestive behaviour should be avoided.
- The portrayal of violent behaviour, explicit
images of distress and injury, blood, guns & other
weapons and animal cruelty are not permitted.
- Product Placement/ Branding; the inclusion of,
or a reference to, a product or service is not
permitted within videos.
Creativity:
A big budget video is not essential, however please
consider the concept and content of the video carefully
before submission. Videos with an original concept and
clearly thought out ideas are more likely to be
playlisted.
Information:
When submitting a video please check that your video
complies with the above and ensure that you enclose a
completed Music Video Release Form. Please download the Music Video Release Form, fill it out and send in with
your video. Videos cannot be entered for playlist until
the submission form paperwork has been completed.
You may also be interested in entering into a Digital Music Distribution agreement, which would
allow us to sell ringtones and downloads of your music
directly to viewers as they are are exposed to your
music video on television and online, when they are most
likely to be interested in buying.
You will be contacted via email to let you know
whether your submission has been successful. Please note
that videos take a minimum of 2 weeks to enter the
playlist meeting following submission.
We cannot guarantee every video that is submitted
will be broadcast on Roamin', although it is more likely
